This battery-operated strand of 5MM Polka-Dot lights features 50 green lights on green wire. The wire is a special, heavy duty 26 gauge wire that is one of the toughest you will find. The lights on this strand are LED lights, meaning they last longer and are much more durable than traditional incandescent lighting. They also do not get hot when lit. These string lights are equipped with Lamp Lock technology that prevents the bulbs on the string from loosening throughout the course of extended use. The patented technology snaps the bulb into the socket tightly, eliminating the potential for loosening which is known to cause the light set to go out. The total strand length is 18 foot, with 4 inch spacing between bulbs and a nice 24 inch lead cord. There are two switches on the strand. One switch turns this steady burning strand into a flickering one. The other strand allows you to turn it on and off. It has a built-in automatic timer that will have the lights on for 6 hours, and then off for 18 hours. This is great for conserving battery power. These lights can be used as Saint Patrick's Day lights and Halloween lights as well as Christmas lights. Comes with two spare bulbs. Requires two C batteries to operate, which are not included.
