Traditional string light C bulbs have been around for a very long time. Often they are referred to as "night light bulbs" Christmas light historians say that the original C7 bulb was the first official Christmas light that was invented for use by the public. We are not so sure regarding the authenticity related to that tale, however we do know that the new and improved LED C7 string light bulbs are better than ever. Although the standard incandescent C7 night light bulb is still in use everyday by millions of people. Slowly, string light enthusiasts are realizing that it is a better alternative to select the LED version of the C7 night light bulb and cease using the incandescent variety.
